Upcoming Events
02.11.2025 - Wear Orange Day: Help the Violence Intervention Program raise awareness and show support for the 1:3 teens who will experience physical, sexual, or emotional abuse by a partner before they become adults.
02.17.2025 - Agency Closed: OFO will be closed for President’s Day. The Emergency Housing Assistance Program and Violence Intervention Program 24-hour shelters and hotlines will still be available for those with a need.
05.03.2025 - Building Healthy Families Annual Community Baby Shower: Festivities will again be held at The Southside Mall in Oneonta
05.31.2025 - Head Start Carnival: This free community event is being held from 10AM-1PM at the Oneonta Boys & Girls Club in Oneonta.
REMINDER: Opportunities for Otsego IS NOT a HEAP Certifier and cannot process applications for benefits. Households receiving other benefits from DSS (e.g. FA, SN, SNAP, or Code A SSI) should contact their caseworker. All other households may apply online or reach out to DSS or Office for the Aging.
