Description:  Opportunities for Otsego (OFO) announces a grant opportunity for nonprofit corporations under Empire State Poverty Reduction Initiative (ESPRI) funded through the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA). ESPRI Community Impact grants are intended to reduce poverty and promote household stability by offering resources and opportunities to low-income individuals and households living within the City of Oneonta School District. Projects through ESPRI must address the root causes of poverty and/or conditions created by poverty.

ESPRI Capacity Building Grant Proposal - Questions and Answers

Q: I am working on the ESPRI grant and am wondering if the Certification of Good Faith Efforts document,  the MWBE utilization plan and the MOU all need to be completed prior to the notice of award?

A: The MWBE Certification of Good Faith Efforts and MWBE Utilization Plan must be submitted with the Project Narrative, Budget Worksheet and Budget Narrative.  The MOU would be completed after a notification of award.
