Openings Early Head Start Home-based Family Partner Early Head Start Home-based Family Partner is needed for a 12-month, 40 hour per week position. The partner is responsible for conducting home visits to families on a weekly basis as well as group socializations twice a month. Home visits are conducted for pregnant women and children under 3 years of age in low income families. Bachelor degree in human services or related field, basic computer skills and valid NYS driver’s license required. The position’s hourly rate is $10.53 with benefits available. Deadline: July 24, 2008Dynamic not-for-profit agency is seeking a Wheels to Work Coordinator, who would be responsible for OFO’s program that provides income eligible families with application and financial assistance with vehicle purchases, repairs and related ownership expenses. Coordinator serves as a liaison between vehicle dealerships and repair shops. Coordinator must be able to determine the current condition and value of vehicles; and have knowledge of case management, creating budgets and reviewing income guidelines. This is a 35 hour position with benefits. Qualified candidate must have a valid NYS driver’s license and either a bachelor degree or an associate degree with 2 years experience in human service field.
