As a Community Action Agency, OFO is part of a nationwide effort to embody the spirit of hope, improve communities, and make America a better place to live. OFO is dedicated to advocating and providing programs that give people the opportunity to meet their needs and realize their full potential.

We do this with support from federal, state and local governments, private foundations and donations. But, more importantly, we do this with a focused professional staff building on the strengths of those we serve.

The goals of our web site are to inform the community of the many activities that OFO is involved with every day, to be a resource for services and programs and to provide information on national and state issues that have affects on our programs as well as the working families we serve.

For over forty years Community Action Agencies have dedicated themselves to alleviating the paradox of poverty in this land of plenty. OFO is proud of its many accomplishments and is continually preparing for the new challenges ahead.
